"The Maddie: Holiday Edition" is a special bow we launch each year in Maddie's name. Each year, we plan to donate the proceeds of the Maddie Holiday bow to a cause that is close to our hearts. This year, the proceeds will go to The Grey Effect Foundation.
The Grey Effect is on a mission to provide safe sleep education & Owlet Monitors to as many families as they possibly can. The foundation is named for the founders' son, Greyson, lost to SIDS in 2016. Our Maddie's big brother is also named Greyson, and we immediately felt connected to this cause. An Owlet device has given us peace of mind with our rainbow baby after losing Maddie, and we love that this cause provides Owlets to families that need them.
In their words: "Life is certainly not all black and white. SIDS is a very grey area. To carry on the precious spirit of our sweet Greyson, we have created a non-profit foundation - The Grey Effect. The intentions of his foundation are to spread awareness regarding SIDS while hopefully preventing other families from enduring the pain of losing a baby to SIDS."
